As far as I understand it, the current behavior is: Click 1 on thumbnail -> modal view opens Click 2 on the video in modal view -> video starts playing And the proposed change is to: Click 1 on thumbnail -> modal window opens and starts playing This is not about playing videos as soon as a page loads.
