Yes, the question is however, if this passed "consensus" on english wikipedia and I made a patch for mediawiki, assuming code would be correct would it be merged to core of mediawiki or is there any other requirement? Does it actually even need to pass consensus on wikipedia? I think this would be useful for other wikis as well. We already have bot flag and most of smaller wikis have no bots.
