Fans are on. Hard drive light is on (steady) as is DVD burner light.

Are the fan(s), hard drives running or is it completely dead? J :-)
----- Original Message ----- From: "ListMail" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>I was using my relatively new "home made" desktop computer (about 6 months old) when all of a sudden the monitor went black. I was copying some files to a Lexar Jumpdrive at the time.
It is a Gigabyte motherboard, Pentium 4, 3Ghz processor, 1GB OCZ memory. It is not overclocked in any way. Thinking this was just a spontaneous re-boot, I waited but nothing happened.
I turned off the power, waited a few seconds and turned it back on. Nothing! Black screen.
No BIOS screen, no memory check, nothing.
