I suspect it may be trying to verify the digital signature on a DLL 
it is loading (or its own) hence the attempt to access the network.
Also if you type "tasklist /svc" in a command prompt window you 
will see that the lsass is also the host for a number of other 
services. One of them may be the cause of the access attempt.

In any event, it is benign.
