The Serial power connection is different from the standard ide ata power interface. You'll need to purchase a serial ata power adapter.
This may be true in his case as the mombo that he listed didn't show any power adapters. As I stated earlier some HDs will come with the serial ata power adapter & some mombos also come with SATA pwr adapters but I don't see any with the one he has listed at NewEgg. The Gigabyte 939 board that I order last summer came with the adapters so I actually wound up with 2 extra sets as the PS I used in that build came with 2 built in.
