This is a two part question. First, has anyone with an Epson printer had it act like it was out of ink when it wasn't and is there any way to test .. I note that the cartridge is not "clear" so that you can physically see that it is empty!
I've had an Epson Stylus 740 for about 5 years and have not experienced that problem. The ink level indicator has been reliable.
Second, presuming it really is .. anyone get any recommendations on replacement source, or more particularly any of those you should avoid? I was thinking of using
www.discount-inks.com and getting their recycled cartridges ..
I have been getting my cartridges from http://www.carrotink.com. Never had a clogging problem.
