Multiply the cost of admission $8.50 by a
possible hypothetical 1 million potential pirates for instance who DL
the pirited movie and you've ended up costing LucasFilm and its distro's
a loss of $8,500,000. That's a lot of money to me.

This is assuming the pirates won't also go to the theatre.<

It's also assuming that if piracy were impossible, those individuals
would have attended the theater or bought the DVD. This is unlikely.
Some pirates can't afford the theater or DVD, others do it simply
for the thrill or for bragging rights. So, those projected 'loss' figures are highly inflated.
