That is a new one for me Bernie, but in searching around the web, it has apparently been going on for several years and I gather the rejection (along with the less than informative reject message) is caused when the time server is overloaded. From what I have gleaned, apparently overloaded time servers have become a very common problem. A couple of sites to take a look at: http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp/t1018274428 http://rbua.org/board/viewthread.php?TID=3974&FID=5 I personally know little-to-nothing about this subject so can't vouch for what is said there, but it seems pretty much in consonance of what I read (sometimes "between the lines") elsewhere. Assuming that your firewall isn't causing the problem, using pooled time servers as discussed at the first URL above might be worth a try. G'luck, and let us know how it resolves. - Bill Hatcher [EMAIL PROTECTED] - -- ---------------------------------------- WIN-HOME Archives: http://PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM/archives/WIN-HOME.html Contact the List Owner about problems: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unofficial Win-Home List Members Profiles Page http://winhome.wavijo.com/
