Are you telling me that Eudora has never automatically checked your email
when you've launched it in the past ?
This sounds to me as if you don't have the "Check Mail" box checked in the
Personality. If you right click on the Persona then left click Properties
it should give you a popup titled "Account Properties for [Personality
name]" & at the bottom of that window it should have a check mark in front
of "Check Mail". I've used Eudora since my dialup days & it has always
checked my email automatically upon connection &/or launching with internet
connection available.
