came up, it seems to have gotten an IP addr via DHCP from my desktop
[which has the internet connection it is sharing]... and the laptop can
get OUT to the internet [via my desktop], but DNS isn't working. I did
an IP config and my desktop has set the laptop to use itself [the
desktop] for the DNS server, but it seems not to be working..
Don't you need to put in the ISPs Ip address in there & not the desktops? I
always do & it works perfectly.
