I can't even *FIND* the administrator account! Probably it only shows up in safe mode. It isn't there on the 'user' applet in the admin tools and I can't runas to it.. I do have a password on the admin account and if/when I can get to the real administrator account I'll fix it, too..:o) This messing with XP/Home is a real experience... I didn't fully understand just how bad a job MS did with that -- they really did make having reasonable security essentially impossible: basically, they managed to take a top-shelf, secure operating system and convert it [as far as security is concerned] back into W95 because they made it too [EMAIL PROTECTED]@$# hard to get things set up. [as I've said and Tony will attest, I'm sure, once you *do* get it set up, it is al really no bother at all but *getting* there is an unbelievable hassle on XP/Home] /Bernie\ -- Bernie Cosell Fantasy Farm Fibers mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Pearisburg, VA --> Too many people, too few sheep <-- -- ---------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, mailto: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Is your picture included in the Official Win-Home List Members Profiles Page? http://www.besteffort.com/winhome/Profiles.html If not, write to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
