Lou, are you plugging the USB cable into a port ON THE MOTHERBOARD or are you using an add-on card or some other device to expand the number of USB ports?
I have a Visioneer OneTouch 9350 scanner that won't work if plugged into a USB card that is plugged into a PCI slot but if I plug it into a USB port on the MB, no problem.
