Which again to me suggests an issue with the hard drive. I can't remember 
what brand of laptop this is, however if it's a dell, it will most likley 
have a Hitachi/IBM drive in it, best to open it and find out, run the 
manufacturers diag program on the disk to see if it's defective, if it's not, 
run chkdsk on it and then see what happens.
