Hi Carl The plastic flap shown in the part of the manual your link refers to has a metal plate firmly attached to the circuit board and, believe me it can't be removed. I discussed this with a support person from Crucial - the firm I bought the upgrade from. This guy was adamant that I should NOT attempt to remove the metal cover. So that leaves under the keyboard as Gary explained later - so here goes...... Thanks to you both for your replies. Dave
