Have you gone onto that account and looked at the folders in question? I
just did it,(of course I did not set these folders to be private when these
accounts were created), and I was not able to get into the folder through
the admin account, but I was able to go back to the account with the private
folder and there was the option to unprivatize the folder. It is at the top
of the dialog box under Local Sharing and Security. I am using XP Home. You
cannot make your folders private if your drive is not formatted as NTFS.
To respond backwards, the directories are already private. I wish to
deprivatize them. ;-)
When I try to access them, I am denied even when using Administator.
