I'm sure glad that I bought the Samsung 30" HDTV for less than a
grand a couple of years ago. It's not a sexy plasma nor a lcd which
means it's a tube & the thing weighs a ton [not literally] but it has
the most excellent color & HiDef that I've seen without having to be
a millionaire. While it's not a 40" flat panel I can easily wait
until they come down in price. FWIW I know some one that has a 4:3
Samsung EDTV & he loves it for DVD playback and if one isn't going to
get much HiDef programming then I suppose EDTV would be acceptable. ;-)
