USE PAYPAL it is safe and NEVER use a link to anywhere else.

So Ebay owns PayPal what better security do you need (sic). Sure if you're
selling it costs but if you're buying it's free. If your seller won't deal
with PayPal and does not accept credit cards on a secure site or recognised
agent then don't deal.

However I also realise that banking in the US is different from the UK
where we have many safeguards that you don't.

BidPay - I believe, is a Kosher company meaning they are legit but I still
would check it out and your seller - feedback, satisfied customers, look
what they have sold/bought. If any negative feedback have a look as to WHY?

Most people are honest - if not nobody would do business but there is
always the rogue out there determined to cheat and lie so check it out
first.

Another thing is that every recognised magazine, newspaper or Internet
information article will strongly advise against using anything connected
with Western Union here in 'euro' land (UK at least) as it been the cause
of so many scams and theft - not W-U the company but people purporting to
use it for payments and refunds.

Personally I would stay away from any other means of payment except for
cash in person and checks, money orders and possibly bank transfers after
you have checked out everything else.
