This seems to happen when the original message doesn't include hard line
breaks. That is, Agent seems to insert a "<" only when it finds a
newline character in the quoted material. If the original poster used
something like OE, then there probably aren't any, and we get that nasty
situation you're talking about.

I've tried various things in Agent, nothing seems to help this mess.
