Interesting choice -- as a philosophical matter I'd say this is incorrect behavior. RFC 2822 explains those two fields as: > The "From:" field specifies the author(s) of the message, that is, the > mailbox(es) of the person(s) or system(s) responsible for the writing of > the message. The "Sender:" field specifies the mailbox of the agent > responsible for the actual transmission of the message. I'd think that for a submission to a mailing list, it would be the *author* of the messages that'd be the determinant for submission to the list, rather than the coincidence of which agent happened to effect its transmission. I wonder what the rationale is for using the 'Sender' [which generally is intended to have no real connection with the *content* of the message, which is what should be of interest to a MLM] /Bernie\ -- Bernie Cosell Fantasy Farm Fibers mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Pearisburg, VA --> Too many people, too few sheep <-- -- ---------------------------------------- WIN-HOME Archives: http://PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM/archives/WIN-HOME.html Contact the List Owner about anything: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Official Win-Home List Members Profiles Page http://www.besteffort.com/winhome/Profiles.html
