$40 is not "el cheapo". Really cheapo 16X DL DVD burners go for $30 or
less. I got one for $20 on Black Friday.

I knew there was a catch. The el-cheapo DVD-burners aren't
"top of the line". As the old saying goes "You get what you pay for."
I have tried ones of that brand, (not currently in use for no particular reason
I can remember, other than building a new machine)...
They worked so well I got one for a friend... He may not have used it
yet in the year he has had it... Did "he" need cutting edge?
YMMV, I liked a specific model number from them...
Speaking of Black Friday -- (this is "yearly shopping day" in the US.)
I got Nero7Ultra Edition full version, boxed, for $zero after all rebates.
I also got some big Norton Suite for the same price (as per my custom...)
According to Marc, the Nero is worthless since it cost nothing...
I won't touch what the Norton is worth with a ten foot pole...
BTW count me in as fourth or fifth, (I was asleep during the voting...)
