My wife's colleague called with an email problem. Win XP Pro, Thunderbird,
limited user.
At some point while answering her emails, she gets a message indicating that
the smtp server cannot be found.
I had her ping some sites and when she used a URL, they failed, but when she
used an IP address, the pings worked.
That sounds like a DNS problem, right?
However, she has no problems in surfing to different sites using URLS in her
brower.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
