I wager that you never had 95 on such a large HD before either.
I have Windows 3.1 data burned to a CD and have installed it from the CD
many times. The installation of Windows 3.1 flies when from a CD. It may go
on in 2 minutes or less. I never tried it with DOS. The trick with a DOS
installation CD would be to burn the CD in a manner that it would be
bootable.
