That would be my guess. I have a couple vintage mobo's, where I've
added/removed PCI cards of all sorts, at one time. Never had a
problem with any, but have knocked something off more than once.
May want to pull the CPU and memory out, clean contacts with rubber
eraser and re-insert a few times.
Pull/push the PS connectors as well.
CPU is your most likely problem.
