Can someone shed some light on this error message. It seems to
come from within my Eudora email when going to look at something on the net.
The message comes up in its own box with a red circle. I have
spyware and Norton antivius all up to date. They are not finding anything.
Please help me someone..
Sorry to be picky but have you run the Anti Spyware & Anti Virus
apps on every file on your system?
Yes, I have run the Anti Spyware, and also downloaded and ran
AdAware. What it found, I let it fix.
Have you considered running any of a number of the freeware
antivirus apps that are available?
I have Norton AntiViurs and also MS Spyware, have ran them... and
they are on a continuous clean up schedule.
What version of Windows & IE are you running?
Windows XP, and the latest IE 6.
Have you applied any updates lately that might have affected
things. Sorry but this is a needle in a haystack thing & you need
to keep looking. How often do you have the problem?
This problem started about a week ago... I have been sick, so things
are kind of blurry... I have been looking, but I don't know exactly
what I am looking for. I have the problem every time, I have my
email up which is Eudora and I go out to the internet... I get the
error box that comes up with the iexplore.exe telling me it needs to
shut down, ok? I ok it and then I have to start over.
Have you cleaned out your temp folder lately?
I cleaned all that out yesterday..
Has your start page been hijacked lately?
Please explain how I would know if this has happened.
Thank you for helping me.
Jerri
