That is NOT what I said. The 6100 will work if it uses 1xRTT & I've
never mention the 6100 in ANY of my posts. It's no wonder people get
upset when what they've said when trying to assist gets all
twisted. The 8100 will NOT work like your existing setup.
The 6100 uses the 1XRTT packet. The 8100 something entirely
different........... Packet Data Technology: 1xEV-DO r0
The Data Tech Supv told me that the CAST technology caused the 8100
to not be able to connect to the internet like the old dial-up 1XRTT. It
connects to the High Speed Broadband Net.
After all the times you've been lied to by VZW it's a wonder that you
believe anyone there. Why bother write to this list as you've not
listened to a thing that has been suggested. Heck you didn't even
wait for replies before purchasing phones.
Post all you want to this list but from now on I know nothing.
