Will not delete using either method. I tried going to MS Dos prompt, but
that doesn't seem to work either. Any more ideas?? It keeps saying it is in
use by someone or some program.

How about just clicking on it (once), then hold the shift key while pressing
the Delete key (on the keyboard).

Or, boot into safe mode, delete it there.

Subject: How to delete a file

I have a dvd file that I downloaded that is obviously corrupt and if I try
to delete it by right clicking on the file name, it trys to launch the media
player and will not do anything unless I Ctrl-Alt-Delete and kill the
application. It says that it is in use and cannot be deleted, but it is not,
even after a fresh reboot, it does the same thing. How can I delete the file
from my machine without using a windows app to do it?
