I do not have one of them (64), or that MB.
(And I tend to run stuff a year or three old...)
IF my MB (or some monitoring software) warned me my
Vcore voltage was high, including in my BIOS where I
can read it in the PC Health section, I would be considerably
concerned and use a different computer until I got a correct
answer.
If the manual does not tell you how to look for these settings,
or you have not found the manual, I can understand why you asked...
GENERALLY speaking, for MY BIOS types:
I can get to a screen in the BIOS where I tell the BIOS to ID the
CPU and if the BIOS is new enough and supports the CPU it
will "get it right" and will list it on an early boot screen...
AFTER I know the BIOS knows correctly what my CPU is,
I tell it to make the settings automatically, as in default for THAT
particular CPU (ONLY since I confirmed it what it knows what it is...)
THEN, I look again, and see if it is the correct voltage as per what
AMD says it needed to be. It always has been correct for me, and I am
generally done at this point... Unless I have minor heat related problems
or ANY type of random instability, and then I back the voltage down as
little as possible by seeing what it is and putting in manual voltage very
slightly lower...
OTOH, I do not know if your BIOS is anything like mine, so you will
have to take these as general guidelines and see if they can be used in your
case... I never RAISE the voltage that is recommended by AMD.
That would be a form of over-clocking, and you are likely voiding
your warrenty if you are correct in your original assessment of the problem
And, if you burn it up this way, (and that might take some time), AMD will
"know" what happened...
Maybe someone else can help more if you name the TYPE of BIOS you have,
and state where "the probe" came from, (and is that software or hardware)...
Good luck, Rick Glazier

I am just setting up a new box with an Asus A8N-VM CSM mobo.
Installed the Probe and get a danger reading on the Vcore of 1.17 volts.
Can anyone tell me what this means.
The threshold value is supposed to be 1.45 volts.
Is this something wrong with the CPU or is there someplace to adjust
this voltage.
Wondering !
