There's an interesting article at
<http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_tutorials/wxpadcon.html> entitled
"Configuring broadband Internet Connections (DSL, ADSL via PPoE) in Wndows [sic] XP"

In it, he describes setting up a "New Connection" via the networking wizard.

Obviously, this is not the only way to set up an Internet connection (DSL, in my
case) but as I do not have one of these in my Control Panel > Network
Connections folder, I was wondering where the information he uses is used in my
set-up. That is, when I boot-up, what logs me in to Verizon, how does it know to
use PPoE, etc.?

Thanks.
