Thanks Bill,

This is hard to beat :-) How do they manage to make money on this?
Chinese labor and components, I suppose.

Since you've been around these models... is there a FD plug on the
mobo? ATA controller? At this point perhaps it's matter of habbit,
but I'd like to have a FD.

I know a couple of friends who will snap these up. Few years back, I
found them Pentium Pro 200MHz for the same price :-)

The other curiosity is, if the on-board devices (sound, video,
perhaps modem, NIC, etc.) would have drivers available for Win98se.
Yes, I'm a diehard :-)

Maybe I could get used to XP, but just in case.

I'm still keeping my old box, which is big and bulky, but has ISA
slots for my v. good MIDI audio bd.

In fact if anyone want to part with an old mobo ATX format, Slot1
100MHz/133 FSB, ISA slot or two, I would pay shipping and some beer
money :-)

Regards,

Rich
