IIRC, doesn't Ewido stop and prompt you for each thing found before taking
action? So you don't *have* to quarantine anything unless you choose to.

You could try this instead of Ewido. It has the same purpose and similar
detections.

Contrary to another post, I wouldn't rely on McAfee for accurately detecting
anything. In some other circles, McAfee has the same amount of respect that
"Norton anything" has here.

Hello

I am using ewido anti-malware and it finds cookies that others don't,
but it also thinks
some of the programs in Barts PE and UBDC are nonvirus malware and
placed in
quarantine. It especialy picks on pieces of VNC. There is an option to
restore at the
bottom of the quarantine window but it does not work, shows restore
error in
lower left of window.
Is there a way to get it to stop removing parts of Bart PE and UBCD?
Will I have to reinstall these programs when ready to use them again?

Thank You Joe Harrison
