Been there about 12 times and all is, apparently, ticketty boo!

Even when I just told it that the boot drive was PATS on IDE 0 it decided to 
investigate SATA on
"Examining 152626 MB DISK 0 at ID 0 on bus 0 on ATAPI....."

So I disconnected the SATA and I am installing on a 30Gb PATA - will clone it 
to the SATA
(hopefully) later.
