One could have watched a movie whilst the drive was initializing, but I
think that is was a little to long. I would try it again and see if it still
does it, then try putting the PATA drive in and then doing a format of the
SATA then taking the PATA out and using the SATA.

If that is answering my long pause whilst XP examines my Hdd it is not
really much help.

Do I watch a movie whilst it thinks about how wonderful these SATA Hdd's are
or do I chuck it and use a PATA Hdd
