1st. Do you have multiple profiles when you log in to the computer or is it
just you?

2nd. There is a folder for each profile. For instance, at home I have a
profile for myself, my wife, & my son. Let's call my profile name "RLB"

By right-clicking the start menu and selecting "Explore", an Explorer window
opens up and automatically highlights the directory "RLB" under Documents
and settings. Select Start Menu. Then select Programs.

This is nothing but a directory full of shortcuts. You can organize this
however you see fit. You can add multiple directories at this location or
even sub-sub-sub directories and so on.

These changes are immediately displayed when you select the "All Programs"
from the start menu.

Where is that profile you speak of?

Ummm...so I could delete most of the shortcuts on the All Programs list as
long as I could add some new folders to it, and the folders would contain
the shortcuts?

Where is the All Programs list stored??

Thanks.
