You're spending too much time on-line if you've forgotten that DOS does
*not* mean Denial of Service ;-)
I still find occasional use for Peter N's "Commander" (pre-Symantec '93
vintage). E.g. when a client could not get rid of a couple of files
quarantined by her AV app (Kerplunksky?), NC did the trick!
Inspired by your XPPE, I shall try & make a bootable CD with some of this
antique stuff on, just for fun!

How does Denial of Service [DOS] help one delete files? So what is this
DOS thing that you're talking about ? Is that the OS that needs one of
those ancient floppy thingys? ;-)
