Actually I was being a bit facetious. The futility of sticking fans in
everything from blenders to toasters as well as computers when not
needed is as you say ridiculous.
I wanted to say that our Chuckie can put a fan in every case he supplies
for next to nothing because he can as his prices are generally way above
the - "I want a computer mum?" panic buy price of Dell, anon..... and
the $2 fan is an insurance for him just in case (no pun intended) it is
needed.
But to say that ALL computer cases need a fan is like saying that every
car NEED a supercharger or a 426 Hemi and cost does play a big part in
massive mass production because 10c here is $10 at the end.
