I think wayne's point is you come into this forum/list asking for
step-by-step explanations for EVERY issue, points well covered in other
places, we are here to resolve issues that are OUT of the norm, not
simple issues like a basic knowledge of networking. We will gladly
answer something as simple as "how do I assign a static IP to a LAN
connection", but to ask WHAT is a static IP or WHAT is a LAN is not the
point of this list, we resolve, not educate (education happens by
saturation, ask the lurkers)
