The issue is not whether it supports Win98SE, it whether it supports Win98SE AND supports WPA, and I'll add another condition that it supports WPA on 98SE without requiring an expensive 3rd Party Supplicant.
I know one can make use of the free/opensource ported Unix WPA_Supplicant, but it's a bit more complicated for non technical uses to make use of, and it doesn't work with all cards and drivers. Many of the cards that say they support WPA and also mention support for Win98SE do NOT support WPA under 98SE, either at all or require a 3rd party supplicant for 98 AND 2000.
