How does this compare with the IPCONFIG /ALL result from the other PC which
works? I'm betting the DNS servers are different.

If so, open the properties of your ISP connection
(Start - Connect To - point to ISP connection, right-click, Properties)

Click on the Networking tab

Under "This connection uses the following items" click on
  Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
and then click the Properties button.

You should see a General tab. Make sure both bullets are set to obtain
addresses automatically. If you need to change one or both, that should fix
it.

If not, write back and we'll walk through re-setting up your ISP connection
from scratch.

Hello again.... I tried a different modem (external) with the same results.
Connected to my ISP and then no further. The error message is "Cannot Find
Server" in the browser and "Unable to find address of server" in Agent
email.

Here is what ipconfig /all says:

Windows IP Configuration
  Host Name: HP
  Primary DNS Suffix:
  Node Type: Hybrid
  IP Routing Enabled: No
  WINS Proxy Enabled: No

PPP Adapter CyberTap:
  Connection-specific DNS Suffix:
  Description : WAN (PPP/SLIP) Interface
  Physical Address: 00-53-45-00-00-00
  Dhcp Enabled: No
  IP Address: 216.106.105.56
  Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.255
  Default Gateway: 216.106.105.56
  DNS Servers: 192.168.3.3
               192.168.2.2
  NetBIOS over Tcpip: Disabled

I hope this offers a clue to my problem. Many thanks for having a look.
