I think Steve Gibson of SpinRite (and firewall testing) fame <www.grc.com>
doesn't
offer a trial version of SpinRite since he knows/suspects folks will use it for
immediate need and then not buy after the trial/crisis is over.
I really can't blame him for this approach...
