Ok, just very general question here. My cousin has an HP desktop with
WinXP. Her dvd/cd-rw will not burn with any program (she's tried a few).
I have no idea if it ever worked since she isnt one to do any backups. She
bought a brand new DVD burner but had the same problem.. HP told her that
it is a "system failure" or something similar to that. They said the only
fix is to reinstall the operating system again.
Does this sound right to you?
