Could be?  WIn2K at one time didn't have ASPI which is required to use CD
writers/readers so you could have an ASPI layer problem however, will the unit
work on another machine?

What would be the problem if you had to rebuild the OS?

What software is she using to burn with?

$64K - is it a burner she has?
