Now you mention that I too have set up an Internet connection using the windows
software and it show the little monitor screen to denote traffic.  This is only
working on the server machine. I have set it up on my main computer to show the
icon in the task bar but it only worked for a day.

I also set this up on one of the others but it seems (I haven't investigated
because it isn't that important) XP doesn't like this and switches it off.
