Well, what do you know? I actually made some progress. Now the problem must be between the Server software and the client software.
I have managed to make a successful connection, but when I try to upload a file to the server (Quick N Easy FTP Server 3.0 Lite), the client (Core FTP) reports "too many parameters" and aborts. The server log says: 13:17:54.508 [3944] 230 User successfully logged in. 13:17:54.524 [3944] SYST 13:17:54.524 [3944] 215 UNIX emulated by Quick 'n Easy FTP Server. 13:17:54.540 [3944] CWD 13:17:54.540 [3944] 501 Syntax error: Invalid number of parameters. 13:17:54.555 [3944] MKD 13:17:54.555 [3944] 501 Syntax error: Invalid number of parameters. 13:18:00.446 [3944] Client disconnected from xx.xxx.xx..... 13:18:00.446 [3944] QUIT 13:18:00.446 [3944] 221 Bye Additionally, on other attempts: 13:24:23.071 [3696] 230 User successfully logged in. 13:24:23.102 [3696] SYST 13:24:23.102 [3696] 215 UNIX emulated by Quick 'n Easy FTP Server. 13:24:23.337 [3696] PWD 13:24:23.337 [3696] 257 "/" is current directory. 13:24:23.383 [3696] PASV 13:24:23.383 [3696] 227 Entering Passive Mode (xx.xxx.xx....) 13:24:24.508 [3696] Client disconnected from xx.xxx.xxx.xx.... Any ideas on this one? Should I start a different thread with a different title? They ARE quite helpfull I know for a fact that it's possible to do it with that firmware version as I've had clients running the tzo with the 2.0 firmware that ran an ftp server behind it. Please don't blame the tool.... -- ---------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, mailto: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Is your picture included in the Official Win-Home List Members Profiles Page? http://www.besteffort.com/winhome/Profiles.html If not, write to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
