Hi,

At work, we have a Sagem finger-print reader (sophisticated push-button!) built into one of our automatic doors, ready for a trade fair. FP data is downloaded to it via a LAN cable (TCP/IP) from the PC which runs the enrollment program. There is no router or modem involved.

What we (I!) want to do is cut out the cable & add in a Wifi link, so that the PC can stay on a table in a corner of the booth, & so that we don't have the risks associated with a cable running under the floor of the booth (previous bad experience!).

Doe anyone have an idea of how to do this?

TIA,

Richard.be
