"better selection" does not have to be read as "higher quality" as you took
it.

It can mean "greater variety" or "greater numbers".  And those were my
meaning.

If you're a glass-half-empty person feel free to filter my posts.  I find I
get the most benefit by assuming that those posting advice are trying to be
helpful, even when it's not the advice I wanted to hear.

What gets me is the "if you care to have a better selection of 
professional opinions" comment. I guess the professionals that 
post here aren't good enough? They have to have a CCNA, CCNP or 
CCIE sheepskin now? IMO the list does a very good job with the 
above items, which includes SOHO/Home networking, thank you.
