And physical characteristics of the media DoubleLayer, Lightscribe, + or - media etc. what speed drive, and media do you think you will be using how frequently will you be writing, and reading either CD or DVD's Me - I get NEC if the price difference is minimal Their service/repair facilities have been excellent for the few failed drives I've had to deal with (28 hour turnaround !
