I just replaced a Lite On with a newer version after the first
apparently died. I'm having trouble with the new one too. I'm
not sure if is something with my system or the drives, but I
found writing to the e-mail support was a total waste of my
time. No help or advice offered. Contact the seller for support
who of course says contact Lite on for support.

I am now trying to flash from HV9N to HSOE firmware, but the
flash utility says that it only for SHM-165H6 and that is what
it is detecting. Unfortunately it looks like I flashed it with
with some unofficial utility. More fun and games.
