failures. My Compaq Presario has been doing well for
10 months so far. Before that, I had Dell Inspirons that
died shortly after the two year warranty was up.
my compaq was great - i used it 3 yrs and my daughter used it 2 or 3
yrs before the water she spilled on it finally did it in.
i liked how the HPs "felt" but both suffered the same type of power
problems and i had to replace the 2nd one when it blew the mobo in a
hotel room because of the power issues.
