I use Comcast but never did pay online so I use checks instead.
In time Comcast will eventually resolve their electronic bill paying problems
in the near future so don't sweat the small stuff.
After all almost every meltimedia, telcom company has their problem(s).

Rant:
I pitty you poor people that have to deal with Comcast...
I just tried to sign up for WEB access to pay a bill there
for someone else, and it was the most bazzar experience
I have ever had... (Well, five times.)
First, the WEB "sign up for an account page" would not take
the account number, (which was verified correct by customer
service).
So the WEB support people told me they use three different
formats for the number, and I "CAN'T" follow the instructions
on the WEB site about using spaces and dashes because that
does not always work... "Try different things, see what works,
write yourself a note and always do it that way..."
(Sounds like a winning system to me... <rotflmao>)
They "also" must have never heard the theory that most people will
type an e-mail address wrong 50% of the time... (They do make
you put it in two boxes like almost everyone else...)
BUT, I NEVER saw anyone REQUIRE that it be typed.
(No copy and paste - you get an error message from the WEB page
by way of the Browser...)
Well, I got an account set up. -- Finally. It took around 5 months
actually, since I have been having troubles with them (before) in lots
of other areas, and take long breaks in having to deal with them...
Trouble is, I could not do what I went for because it tells me they
are not sure of of the status of the account...
I'm not sure who I hate more at this point, Comcast or Verizon...
