Is the "latest Internet explorer" version 7 or version 6?

Try clearing the Temporary Internet Files.

If that doesn't help, you could have a virus, trojan, spyware or browser
hijacker problem. Are your antivirus and antispyware programs up to date?
Does the system scan cleanly with them?

Subject: Selective refusal to show web-pages.

Beste Windowers, may someone can help me solve the following curious problem
I have with one of my computers.

Using the latest Internet explorer from Microsoft, some of the web-sites can
not be reached consistendly, while with other web-sites I have never a
problem.
E.g. Google- and Microsoft-sites will not show themselves. I get a blank
page telling me at the bottom its Ready.

I use Windows XP with SP2.

Question: what can possibly be the cause of this?

Met vriendelijke groet, Eppo R. Kooi.
